Disappearing SharePoint Sites

When you choose the option "Connect to Office" in SharePoint 2010, this will create a neat little shortcut on your favourites in Windows Explorer to allow you to have an "Explorer View" of the data rather than going in to the web version all the time.

Why do I use it?
The simple answer - User Adoption. We all know the stuggles with getting people in the business to use SharePoint. Some of them LOVE it and couldn't do without it. Others just detest it altogether. This is an ideal way to get them using SharePoint without even realising it!

So what happens if it disappears?? It's related to Office so generally, I close all Office Applications and re-open and then try a Save As to see if the option is there. If not, I do a restart. Usually, this fixes it. Happy Days!! !
